Breaking# Missing Youth From Hajin Joined Militancy. Read Here.

youth who went missing a few days ago from his home in Hajin area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district has reportedly joined Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit. A picture of Nisar Ahmad Dar of Wahab Parray Mohalla in which he could be seen carrying an AK-47 rifle went viral on social networking websites last evening. Dar had gone missing few days ago following which his parents filed a report with Hajin police station. Reports said Dar was detained and booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) last year and was released only a few months ago. A friend wishing anonymity said that Dar was forced to pick up gun as he was “implicated” in many false cases and “harassed” by the police. “The torture by the police forced him towards militancy,” he said. Last year in May 12 two local youth Nasrullah Nazir Mir and Abid Hameed Mir alias Arhaan of Hajin also joined the militant ranks who were killed in separate encounters with the government forces in Kashmir.
